Reservations can be made for parties up to 10 people. All reservations are for a minimum of three hours and require a food and drink spend. Reservation priority is given to hotel guests via the Patio Getaway Package.

How do guests book a reservation?

What is the minimum food and drink spend?
Minimum spend is determined by the type of seating area you are reserving before tax and gratuity. The minimum spend is subject to change for special events.

Are there any additional fees?
There are no additional fees such as a Patio rental fee. We just require a food and drink minimum spend dependant on the seating you reserve.
If I bring more people than what my reservation is made for does that matter?
We ask that you let us know the party size before you arrive since seating areas are limited.
Is there a minimum Food & Beverage spend?
Yes. The food & beverage minimum spend is based on the seating area you reserve.
If a guest who is currently utilizing the reservation wants to add an extra hour, how much will it cost?
An additional fee per hour is based on the seating area you reserve.
What is the cancellation policy?
If guests are unable to physically travel or if there is an emergency, we will cancel. Weather related cancelations are made the day of the reservation via management. A credit card is required to guarantee your reservation. Hotel and Patio reservations can be modified or cancelled up to 48 hours prior to arrival without penalty. Hotel reservations cancelled within 48 hours of arrival will be charged a one night room and tax penalty. Patio reservations cancelled within 48 hours will incur a $50 cancelation fee ($100 cancelation fee for cabana reservations). Patio reservations will be held for ten minutes past the reserved time slot before being released to walk-in reservations. The cancellation fee may be higher during special events.
Are children permitted?
Families with children are allowed on the Patio until 8pm. After 8pm the Patio is 21+.
Can I bring outside food & beverage, cigarettes, e-cigarettes and vapes?
No outside food or beverage is allowed into the Patio. No smoking of any kind is allowed at the Patio.
What kind of music is played at the Patio?
The Patio is an open format venue and plays the hits from all styles and genres of music.
Can I bring a backpack or beach bag?
Yes, but all bags are searched. We suggest you only bring the essentials to the pool to assist with ease and safety of entering the venue.
Are there umbrellas or shaded areas?
Yes but they are limited and assigned based on availability so please be prepared and bring your sunscreen.
How do I reserve a lounge chair?
Hotel Guests are given priority and Lounge chairs can be reserved here. They cannot be moved around the pool deck.
Do we take walk-ins?
Yes, based on availability. Dining tables are available for walk-ins as well.
Can we book a group or party?

How do we collect payment?
We will not split checks by person, but can split credit cards by payment. Payment will be collected at the end of the experience. A credit card is required to hold your reservation.
How are the seated areas sanitized in between reservation's?
In addition to adhering to the guidelines set forth by the CDC and Durham, we have implemented the following requirements and procedures to our already thorough sanitation practices. All seated areas are cleaned after every use and we allow a 30 minute gap between parties to reset the space. All high touch surfaces including countertops, payment devices, and pens will be sanitized after each transaction. A digital menu will be accessible to all guests to access on their own mobile device. Instruction signage on usage will be placed throughout the restaurant. We will wash the towels after every use and will have a rotation of towels for use for each guest.
Is mask usage required within the Patio?
Mask usage will be required when going to or from your seated area, when not actively eating or drinking and while in the pool. Once seated and you are eating or drinking, you are not required to wear a mask.

Where is the Patio and pool located?
The Patio and pool is located on the 3rd floor of the property. The entrance can be accessed by the parking garage entrance on the 3rd floor or by taking the guest elevator to the 3rd floor that is located on the lobby level of the property.
Is there a cover charge to enter the Patio?
General Admission is FREE for Hotel Guests when the Patio restaurant is closed. During restaurant hours, a reservation is required for hotel and non-hotel guests. To reserve your space fill out the inquiry form. Priority is given to hotel guests.
When is the best day to visit the Patio?
Every day is a great day to go to the Patio. We are the only Patio with a pool in Durham. We have a rotation of local live DJ’s, contests, drink specials and giveaways. We will be featuring theme days such as Flashback Friday, Cinco de Mayo, Christmas in July and more. Visit our event calendar for more details.
Do I need identification to enter?
Yes, everyone entering the Patio after 8pm needs to have a current, non-expired, valid government proof of identification (21+ years) no matter your age. You also need a valid ID to use a credit card and/or charge to your room.
How many people can fit in the pool?
The pool is 12 ft by 24 ft. With Covid restrictions parties are required to social distance by 6 feet. Please share the pool space and time in the pool so we can all have fun.
